  • 16-mile conversion of a four-lane highway to a grade-separated expressway

  • Prime consultant on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)

  • Utility conflict identification and relocation for all major utilities, including:

    • High voltage power

    • High pressure gas

    • Petroleum gas lines

  • Condition assessment for significant portion of City of North Las Vegas sewer system

    • Assessment performed by NASSCO-certified Horrocks employees​

    • Pipe sizes ranging from 15- to 33-inches in diameter

  • Capital improvement rehabilitation report prepared with a cost estimate for design and construction

City Creek 84-inch 
Storm Drain Rehabilitation

St. George, UT

Contract Type: Lump Sum

Cost: $500,000

​

  • Rehabilitation of 310 linear feet (LF) of 84-inch storm drain running through a gas station and busy city roadway​​

    • Slip-lined 72-inch fiberglass pipe​

    • Disturbed area limited to a shored 15-foot by 24-foot excavation

    • 320 feet of Hobas pipe placed in less than five hours

    • Insertion pit completion, pipe slip-lining, bulk-head construction, and annular space grouting all completed within a week

  • No interruption of traffic during entire process

  • Gas station able to remain open to
    public during rehabilitation

Condition Inventory

Salt Lake, Tooele, & Summit Counties, UT

Contract Type: Hourly

Study Cost: $1.9 million

 

  • Inventory and evaluation of UDOT’s Region 2 culverts and storm drain system

    • Developed a rating system

    • Conducted field evaluations

    • Provided prioritized repair recommendations

    • Reported all information to client via UPLAN

  • Set up integration between ArcGIS Collector and Survey-123 for field data collection

  • Data displayed in a dashboard to monitor
    collection progress

  • Maintenance and replacement prioritization generated through a GIS algorithm
